Yes, it's true, I have gone on a hiatus. I have actually been busy and productive and have been avoiding the blog. It also appears that our family is going through a decision making period of time, in particular for this situation it is difficult to give out any details and impossible to update...which makes it hard for me to clear my head and come here and blog. :(

The baby is growing well, and quickly! It's movements are so forceful and frequently (ie: many times per day) take me by surprise. How can someone even be surprised by anything in pregnancy for the 6th time??? Obviously, they really are all different. I have to say that more people have predicted "girl" than "boy" and I'm going to kick anyone's butt who says girl just to make me feel better. =D The "official" prediction from a good friend's mom is also girl. I have to say that she accurately predicted each of my other kids and apparently has a good track record with many other babies as well. Since her prediction came from only a picture of me, she gave me a strong word of caution to "not get my hopes up." Hehe. I had another doctors visit and the heartrate continues to be in the high 140s/low 150s, surpassing all my other children. My weight gain is horrible (as usual) and dreaded. How much worse can it get??? I only have about 8 weeks left. I figure I have exactly 2 weeks to go before I officially start freaking out.

On a happy note, my house is staying cleaner these days. My desire to get things organized really drives me crazy. Well, maybe it is not so much *staying* cleaner as it is being cleaned more frequently, lol.

I made Eden a new dress for Easter. Besides that and singing in the choir, it was the ONLY thing special I did for Easter. I enjoyed both. I dove into the 99 cent bin at Mill End to find the fabric for her dress. I figured that after it was all said and done, it cost me $5 or less. Yay! I didn't manage to take any pictures, so next time I catch her wearing it, I will post one.

Well, God continues to bless us in many many ways. He is clearly protecting us and providing for us. He extends great measures of grace, even when we don't deserve it. He is at work in our family, and I am praying for His guidance in what my part is. I sure can use some work becoming the wife/mom He wants me to be. I am also trying to focus on what I understand of Henry Blackaby's "Experiencing God" and use that information to more clearly see what God wants us to do in the future.

That's about it for now. Back to the sewing room!!!
