Thanks to a wonderful family in our church, Eden is fulfilling a dream of riding horses. Today was her second time going out to ride, and she is beaming. What a blessing for her and for me!!
Our garden is growing SO fast now...it's crazy. I remember painstakingly watch those first few "babies" grow, and now it seems like I can't keep up. The tomato plants that were just "sticks" a couple weeks ago are now full bushes with some big, green tomatoes on them. I never would have thought!
Cucumbers are growing faster than we can eat them. Good thing Tirzah wants to help!
She's not only helping with the cucumbers, she's also willing to take Patrick's place as supper helper.
Though I'm not really sure she was much of a help...Eden was more bothered about the mess Tirzah made in the water. :) Tirzah is developing quite a personality. She's becoming very bossy even though she doesn't talk. She gets her point across by screaming and pointing. She is strong-willed and will be naughty in spite of being disciplined. She has also been getting up at night. We're not sure where to put her to sleep. We've tried several different things, but nothing seems to be working. :/ When she wakes up in the middle of the night (usually only once), she screams and "bosses" us around for a while, then finally falls back asleep in exhaustion. (As do her parents). She is cutting some new teeth, so possibly it will pass soon?? It is very clear that she does not want to sleep by herself, but desperate times call for desperate measures. So we'll see what happens with this one. Oye Vey. We have our work cut out for us!
